Our center focuses on research and development in the field of green economy, covering topics such as climate change mitigation and adaptation, renewable energy, circular economy, resource recycling, green trade, and sustainable finance. Our work includes financial strategies and cost-benefit analysis of environmental costs, evaluating the impact of economic activities on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, and promoting the industrialization of resource recycling and circular economy technologies. At the same time, the center is dedicated to energy transition and the development of green energy, analyzing the economic and business risks associated with climate change, and advancing the application of green finance.
In addition to academic research and policy analysis, the center enhances corporate and societal understanding and participation in sustainable development through director training courses, industry workshops, media communication, forums, and strategic discussions. Through research and practical collaboration, the center fosters dialogue among industry, government, and academia, providing science-based policy recommendations and promoting the implementation of sustainable development actions by both enterprises and governments, aiming to achieve the dual goals of environmental sustainability and economic growth.
